Situated on the waterside of the river Avon in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the pub has two names - the older is The Black Swan but the new name originated from the American GIs that camped over the river in the Second World War.

Just two minutes walk from The Swan Theatre on Southern Lane. Also, only five minutes walk from the town centre towards Old Town.

Restaurant & Bar Menus

We have our 'Actors Bar', in which you can find many photos of actors and actresses that have visited us. We also have another bar/dining area and our Conservatory Restaurant, which holds up to 40 people. Fine wines, ales and cold lagers served all day. We are a member of the Kennel Club of Great Britian and allow dogs in the long bar.

Dine with us in our rear 40 seater Conservatory Restaurant, in which we offer full table service. We take pre- and post theatre bookings in the restaurant. Sandwiches and light bites served until 5pm, main menu served all day. A selection of roasts are available on Sundays.
